Orthotics

What are Orthotics?

Orthotics are customized foot devices that are used to treat a variety of biomechanical foot disorders and can be used to better align your feet, ankles, knees, hips and spine. Orthotics are commonly used to decreased pain, provide support and stability, as well as correct abnormal alignment.

It’s important to understand your feet have direct impact on the rest of your body and support you with each step. A small abnormality in foot function can have a large impact on joints higher up in the body, causing pain, discomfort and increasing the likelihood of an injury.

Anybody can benefit from proper foot support, but orthotics are commonly used in the treatment of:

  • Flat feet
  • High Arches
  • Low back Pain
  • Chronic Knee Pain

  • Calf muscle tightness
  • Twisted pelvis
