Will it hurt?
Most people feel much better after their chiropractic consultation.
Occasionally, if there is acute inflammation or the issue has been present for a long time, you may feel some mild discomfort — similar to how you might feel after going to the gym for the first time. Any post-treatment soreness is usually short-lived and a normal part of the body adapting to positive change.
What is the cracking sound?
The cracking sound is simply a gas bubble releasing within a joint. It doesn’t always occur, and treatment is still very effective without it.
If you prefer not to have joints “cracked,” that’s no problem — we are happy to use gentle, alternative techniques to achieve your health goals.
Do you accept WorkCover, Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA), or DVA patients?
In certain circumstances, yes.
However, being a private patient is often the best way to achieve the fastest and most effective outcomes, as it allows care to be guided purely by clinical need rather than external restrictions.
