Fish oil. What does it do? How much should I take?

Fish Oil Capsule

Everyone has heard about the amazing benefits of fish oil, but what does it do? and how much do you need to take?

Fish oil, AKA: EPA/DHA, Omega 3 and 6 Essential Fatty Acids( EFA’s), is derived from the flesh of fish. Different fish have different levels of natural oils, so some fish have higher levels of oil than others. Most people get their fish oil intake from taking capsules, but nothing beats the real thing…
Taking fish oil tablets regularly has been shown to have a wide range of health benefits, Such as:
Reduce the pain of Arthritis
Help to lower Cholesterol
Help lower Blood Pressure
Help to control ADHD, Depression, Alzheimers and Parkinsons Disease.

Research suggests that you need to take between 1-3 grams (1000-3000mg) of fish oil each day for the maximum nutritional benefit.
Not all tablets have the same dosage. Some brands have 1g (1000mg) per capsule and some have as little as 0.28 grams (280mg) per capsule.
So read the label. To get 1 gram of fish oil daily you may only need 1 capsule, or up to 5 capsules depending on the brand.

Your body has an amazing ability to be able to heal itself, but it needs the right building blocks to repair and heal you properly.
