Scoliosis is any sideways curvature of the spine.  There are many reasons that people can get a scoliosis, some are genetic and cant be changed, some are generated by lifestyle. Scoliosis tends to develop in late childhood. About one in every two people is thought to have mild scoliosis, which over the course of time develop degeneration of the spine, and various pain syndromes.
